It is with much excitement that I write this letter and report that the Lord has continued to bless our visa application process and things are advancing smoothly — Praise the Lord! Last month I reported that I was in Taiwan at the time converting my visa to an “Alien Resident Card”. That was successfully accomplished and I quickly returned to the States to begin the process of applying for visas for Anny Grace and Abraham. As of the writing of this letter, the initial documentation has been submitted and I met with a representative at the Taiwan office in Atlanta today to pick that up and discuss next steps. We have been concerned that Taiwan may not accept Anny Grace and Abraham’s applications at present due to Taiwan’s current coronavirus situation and have made this a matter of much prayer. Thankfully, when I met with the representative today, she said she thinks that won’t be an issue as I already have residency in Taiwan and we are simply applying for them to join me — Praise the Lord! Lord willing, we will be able to submit their completed applications very soon. Thank you for your continued prayers for this process!
Last week I was able to preach at the Our Generation Camp, a missions camp put on by our home church each year in Trenton, GA. I always am eager for opportunities to challenge young people towards missions and enjoyed my time there preaching and discussing missions with them.
Recently we and other missionaries on our Vision for China team started praying specifically for God to call seven new missionaries to surrender to go to China/Taiwan with the gospel. We are praying that by January of next year these seven would be either starting to raise funds to go to the mission field or begin training to prepare to go to the field. Would you pray with us for these new laborers?
Prayer Requests & Praises

Pray that Anny Grace and Abraham’s visas can be applied for and processed smoothly.
Pray that the Lord would give us a smooth transition to the field in the coming months.

In one of the more recent episodes of the A Thousand Lives Broadcast, I was privileged to interview the Vision For China team’s very own missionary, Kanon Bloom, while in front of a live audience of campers at the Our Generation Missions Camp! Listen in to hear Kanon’s exciting stories about learning Chinese, adapting to culture & even fleeing police while also hearing how he and his wife are gearing up to head back to the field to start a church! Listen in to my interview with Kanonnow!
