Thank you for praying for our visa paperwork to be processed smoothly! It has been both humbling and encouraging to hear from so many of you who have reached out to let us know you have been joining us in prayer for this need. We praise the Lord for the consistent prayer support you all so faithfully give us. As of the writing of this letter, we are exactly one month into the 45 day period set for me to receive my visa. Please continue to pray that the Lord would allow me to receive my visa in a timely manner so that I can then obtain my “Alien Residence Card” and use it to begin Anny’s and Abe’s visa application process. We are excited to be inching closer to the field during these unprecedented days of tight travel restrictions. The Lord is good and faithful!
Just last week, Anny and I were privileged to attend Vision Baptist Mission’s yearly Orientation meeting. This year was particularly special since last year it was cancelled due to coronavirus. It was great to connect with our stateside VBM family and spend time studying the Word together.
The Lord has continued to bless me with teaching and preaching opportunites. I have been able to preach and challenge students at various Christian schools in and around the Atlanta area, teach some Sunday School classes at Vision Baptist Church, teach a class at the Our Generation Training Center, and also teach another course to some of the pastors in mainland China who are a part of Mark Tolson’s ministry. It’s wonderful to have these opportunities to serve as we continue to inch closer to leaving for the field.

Then in the Broadcast’s Easter Podcast Special, follow in Jasmine’s footsteps as she goes to worship at a tomb that isn’t empty on Easter Sunday. “Easter Sunday, Qingming Festival, and A Tale of Two Tombs” highlights the hopelessness of so many Chinese each spring and points to their need for preachers who will unashamedly tell them of the empty tomb!
