July 2019 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,

Thank you all for praying for the Goforth China Tour! Anny Grace and I had the wonderful opportunity to lead a group of five young people on a ten day trip to China. It was both a mission trip and vision tour. These young people came because they are seriously considering becoming full-time missionaries to China in the future. Thank you all for praying for this trip! The Lord worked and hearts were stirred as the team had many opportunities to both see the great need for more laborers in China as well as actually labor alongside missionaries by sharing the gospel with Chinese people.

Over the course of the trip, we took them to five Chinese cities. These five cities have a combined population of 30,000,000 people – at least 28,500,000 of which are lost and headed for hell! Friend, do you know that 28,500,000 is about the population of the state of Texas! Oh that the Lord would raise up more laborers to go into the great harvest fields of China! Please pray with us!

We praise the Lord for all that he did in June to get us closer to moving back to China! For starters, the Lord allowed us to see a sizable increase in our support level! We are now at just over 44% of our needed support! What’s more, a church that we were with in KS early in June notified us saying that two children, ages 11 and 7, were saved in response to a message I preached. God is so good! We give Him all the praise for what He is doing in and through our ministry! The first week and a half of July was spent in China, and we are excited about our meetings for the rest of the month! We have meetings scheduled at churches in NC, AL, GA, MS, and TX, and we are also excited about our church’s annual marriage retreat and this opportunity for us to focus on our marriage! Thank you all for your continued prayers!
