Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,

The Lord blessed us with another wonderful month of deputation in November.  We traveled to 10 churches in KY, TN, NC, GA, AL, PA, OH, and FL, and we were able to spend the Thanksgiving holidays in AL with family. The Lord has been faithful to raise our support, and we are currently just over 30% of our needed monthly total. We praise the Lord for His blessings and provision!

The month of December should prove to be a busy one with meetings in 13 churches in NC, AL, GA, WV, VA, FL, LA, and SC, as well as Christmas with family in AL and preaching at the Our Generation Summit in OH! We praise the Lord for so many opportunities to preach the Word and present China and the ministry. Please continue to pray that the Lord would both allow us to be a blessing to churches and continue to raise our support as we travel and share the burden He has given us to make Him known in China.

We, along with the other eight families with Vision Baptist Missions sent to the Chinese speaking world are excited to have recently unveiled Vision For China. Vision For China is the team of eight missionary families with VBM who have voluntarily joined themselves together with a vision to see China and the world reached with the gospel through the making of disciples, the planting of churches and the training of men. Please visit our website at www.visionforchina.org to learn more about our team, our projects, and how you can be a part in reaching China with the gospel.

Weekly Devotion: Deuteronomy 6:21-23

“Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.”

The Lord brought Israel out of bondage to sin that He might bring them into the land of promise. He brought them out so that He might bring them in.

Lord, thank You that You have in a similar way brought me out to bring me in. I, too, was in bondage. I was a slave of sin. But You brought me out! You brought me out so that You might bring me in! You have brought me into Christ! I am now in Christ! He is now my Master, my Captain, my King. I am no longer in sin, but in Him! Thank You, Lord! Amen.

The Voice in the Villages Initiative

The Voice In The Villages Initiative (China) is a discipleship effort of Vision For China to reach beyond China’s cities and into its villages. The missionaries on our team are stationed in the major cities because that is where the majority of the populace resides. But we know that are still souls living outside the cities in thousands of villages across China. We know that Christ loves them too. Thus, this is our effort to not chose “either/or” but “both/and”—to try to reach both urban and rural Chinese at the same time.

The villages offer a unique challenge because many aren’t able to sustain a full-time pastor, there is a high illiteracy rate, they are hard to get to or there is a lack of training that is offered in their area. This initiative evaluates those challenges and is trying to formulate a plan to overcome them to take the love of God to the villages of China.

Our Game Plan

Phase 1 – Produce Media & Material

Phase 2 – Build a Resource Package

Phase 3 – Distribution and Contacts

Phase 4 – Ongoing Training
