Well, ladies and gentlemen, it’s official. Our son, Abraham Hudson, is officially two years old. So in the spirit of celebration, I’d like to take a break from my usual goings on about China to wish our little Tasmanian Toddler a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
He’s a fireball of a boy, bouncing back and forth between kicking balls, watching alphabet videos, and reading the latest from Dr. Seuss. And if he had his way, he would live on a steady diet of goldfish crackers, strawberries, and momma’s stir fried tomato and egg rice porridge.
I’ve been saying for months now that he misread the “terrible twos” memo and mistook it for saying the “terrible twenty months”. But I figure that’s alright because if he got a head start, maybe that means he’ll get through them early as well.
When we visit churches, he promptly hands out handshakes and fistbumps to everyone that moves. He even gives out prayer cards. But watch out, he might want to take them back after a second or two. He was just letting you have a peek, after all.
At any rate, he’s a top notch kid that makes his momma and I all the right kinds of proud of. We are immensely thankful to be his parents and eagerly look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for his future.
